Site layout, teams and drills
Give your team a clear view of the places that matter in an emergency.
Safety Figure supports digital layouts alongside emergency team, equipment, scenario and drill records. Place and label relevant items, then keep the information aligned with changes to the workplace.
Example: a changed warehouse layout
A new storage arrangement changes how people move through a section of the warehouse. Update the site layout and review the shown exits, equipment and assembly information with the responsible team. Use the next briefing or drill to check whether people understand the revised arrangement.
Prepare, verify and update
Select the workplace, floor or area and start from the available site drawing. Place symbols with clear descriptions, confirm their real positions on site and connect the plan with the relevant team and drill information.
- Define the area and gather current layout and equipment information.
- Place and label the relevant items using the drawing tools.
- Verify the plan on site and review it after changes or drills.
Keep ownership of the real plan clear
For a pilot, choose one area and identify who edits the drawing, checks the locations and briefs the team. The drawing tool is not a surveyed design, an evacuation calculation or an automatic approval of your emergency arrangements.
Can our own team edit the layout?
Users with the appropriate permission can create and change it. The people responsible for the site still need to verify routes, equipment positions and operating conditions before using the plan. The platform supports preparation and records; it is not an emergency dispatch service.
