Browser preferences and optional services

Choose the optional services you want to allow.

Analytics, advertising measurement, maps and videos are controlled separately. They are off on a first visit until you give permission. You can read the site and send an enquiry when optional services are rejected. Browsing or closing the notice does not count as consent.

Changing your choice

Open cookie preferences to review or withdraw a category. Acceptance and rejection are remembered for 180 days in the current browser, with a new choice requested when the period or permission scope changes. A preference is not transferred to another browser. Withdrawal stops future optional loading and removes accessible analytics cookies and the advertising reference; data on a provider's own domain may need to be managed through that provider or browser settings.

Necessary preference and display storage

The first-party sf_cookie_consent record stores the categories, policy version, choice time and preference reference for 180 days. If a withdrawal cannot be verified, sf-consent-deny keeps optional services disabled until successful verification or site-data clearing. The edgehse-theme local-storage entry remembers light or dark appearance until it is changed or site data is cleared; it has no automatic expiry. Administrator and application sign-ins use session cookies for their login functions.

Analytics

Only analytics permission enables Google Analytics page and interaction measurement. The _ga and _ga_* cookies last at most 180 days, without a new visit extending that period. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled, and logged-in administrators are excluded from measurement. Analytics permission does not enable advertising measurement.

Maps and videos

Google Maps loads only with map permission. YouTube uses a privacy-enhanced player after video permission and a playback choice. The providers can receive IP address, browser and usage information when their content loads. Their cookies and retention periods can vary with the provider and browser. Visiting an external link brings you under that service's own terms.

OpenAI Ads conversion measurement

With advertising-measurement permission, __oppref holds an advertising click reference for at most 30 days. Only a successfully submitted demo request qualifies as a conversion. The server sends a random event identifier, success time, event type, site address and available click reference, with a preference against use for advertising personalisation. Names, email, phone, message content, hashes of those fields, and the visitor's IP and browser information are not included in the conversion data. No form-reading OpenAI advertising script is loaded. You can submit the demo request without this permission.

Preventing duplicate demo counts

The sf_demo_conversion cookie holds a random, single-use success reference rather than form content. It is marked Secure and HttpOnly, lasts at most 15 minutes and can be removed earlier after use. Expired related server records are cleaned up hourly. Opening a page or clicking the submit button alone does not create a successful conversion.

Server preference records

A preference receipt stores a random identifier, policy version, categories and date for 180 days, with expired records cleaned up daily. This preference table does not store IP address or browser information. Separate technical access and security records can still exist; the statement does not apply to every log on the service.

Provider processing and contact

External services may process data in other countries, and your cookie choice does not by itself establish every condition required for a transfer. For questions or data requests, write to iletisim@safetyfigure.com. See the privacy information for organisational data, retention and request handling.

Subscription form security

When you submit the subscription form, an essential security cookie named sf_newsletter_guard is created to prevent unauthorised submissions from another site. It contains a random signed value, contains no email address, cannot be read by JavaScript and lasts no more than two hours. Short-lived counters derived from a keyed digest of the email address and a global submission counter limit abuse. The counter window is 15 minutes; expired records are removed during the next cleanup. No IP address or browser information is added to the subscription tables. These records are not used for analytics or advertising tracking.
