A shared reporting point on site
Let employees describe what happened without a personal phone.
The Safety Figure reporting device is a physical touchscreen kiosk developed and produced by Safety Figure. Employees can describe a hazard or near miss in their own words; speech is converted to text on the device and the written report is emailed to the designated recipients.
Example: packing straps beside a dispatch door
During the afternoon shift, an employee catches a foot on discarded packing material. At the reporting point, they describe the location, time and what happened. The team receiving the message can check the area, investigate why material remained there and decide which follow-up is needed. The example illustrates a workflow, not a recorded customer incident.
From spoken account to a written report
Choose hazard or near miss on the touchscreen, then use the named or anonymous reporting option. Describe the observation. On-device speech processing creates the text, AI helps organise the account, and the configured email connection sends it to the responsible team. A personal phone or installed employee app is not required.
Plan the response as well as the device
Pilot the installation in a safe, accessible position under real noise conditions. Verify the requested languages, speech accuracy, email delivery and recovery after a connection problem. In the current flow, audio is deleted after successful sending but can remain on the device when sending fails. Agree recipients, access, retention and how employees will hear back.
Does the device decide what action to take?
No. It helps capture and organise the report. Your team checks the site, seeks more information where necessary and decides the response. It is a reporting channel, not an emergency alarm or a substitute for immediate site procedures when danger is present.
