PPE requirements, stock and issue
Show people what is assigned to the job and what has been issued.
Safety Figure brings PPE product records, photographs, stock movements, employee issues and returns together. Safety and stores teams can work from the same issue history while employees see the equipment lists made available for their work.
Example: preparing a maintenance shift
The responsible team has defined the equipment needed for a particular maintenance task. Compare that list with stock and recorded issues before the shift begins. Product photographs help staff distinguish similar items, while the issue record shows what was supplied, to whom and when.
Keep requirements and stock movements connected
Create the product inventory with names, images, units and opening quantities. Link the approved equipment requirements to the relevant work. Record employee issues and returns, then use the available documents and reports to review the history.
- Define products and the team responsible for stock records.
- Map equipment lists to the tasks for which your team has selected them.
- Record quantities, issue dates, returns and the employee concerned.
Pilot one task and one employee group
Use your existing PPE selection and verify that the product identification, sizes, quantities and access permissions fit the process. The platform records requirements and distribution; selection, fit, condition and suitability remain matters for the responsible team.
Does an item being in stock mean it is suitable?
No. Availability and suitability are different questions. The appropriate product must be selected for the task and operating conditions. An issue record also does not prove that equipment was worn correctly or remained fit for use.
